The Florida Defense Contractors Association (FDCA) announces the appointment of three new board members.
The current board members of FDCA are happy to welcome new board members Eric Ellis, James Nelson, and Frederick Schor.
Eric Ellis is presently the Vice President and General Manager for General Dynamics Ordnance & Tactical Systems located in St. Petersburg, Florida.
James (Jim) Nelson is a Director in the Forensic Services Government Contracts Practice at Pricewaterhouse Coopers Advisory Services LLC in Melbourne, Florida.
Frederick D. Schor is the co-owner of On-Point Defense Technologies LLC in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
In addition to Ellis, Nelson and Schor, FDCA’s Board of Directors consists of the following individuals:

The Florida Defense Contractors Association (FDCA) Board of Directors announces Gene Moran, President of Capitol Integration, as FDCA’s Executive Director. As Executive Director, Mr. Moran will coordinate external communications, event programming and membership issues.
Mr. Moran has previously served as Vice-Chairman of FDCA and is founder of Capitol Integration, a Florida-based government relations firm. He is a retired US Navy Captain and well-established government relations expert in the defense and security industries. Of the appointment Moran said, “I am excited for this new role with FDCA, particularly as the nation welcomes a new administration and the discussion around our national security interests becomes even more prominent. I am grateful to the FDCA for this opportunity to continue to develop and strengthen the business interests of Florida’s defense industry.”
FDCA Chairman, Noel McCormick, President of McCormick Stevenson Engineering and Design of Largo, FL, said, “We could not be more pleased that Gene Moran has agreed to take on the critical role of Executive Director. Together with our association management firm, Wilson and Associates of Tallahassee, FL, our leadership team has now evolved to even better reflect the world-class membership of FDCA.”
Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL-25) – a member of the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee – meets with LM Aeronautics in Pinellas, FL for an update on key national security programs, such as the F-35, during a visit organized by the FL Defense Contractors Association.
